Meanwhile, for one thing, or translators, thank you ..
tuute without you I speak the languages of the world, or lost works (movies, books, software) that instead I can enjoy thanks to your efforts.
Second: I am (in part) account of the difficult problems you face when you need to bring ideas, scenes, and choices "linguistic virtuosity" from one language to another. Also why the works have never written thinking that someone will translate. I have software to translate a booklet the proverbial sweat seven shirts.
Third, I recognize that there are gems in the translations where "linguistic inventions" have managed to overcome the most original in the effect intended by the author ("wolf howls, howls castle" for instance)
Nevertheless, allow me humbly to give a couple of suggestions, from poor user experts.
1 - Respect the author's desire.
If in the original film is called "La Science des Reves" and English "The science of dream," because in Italian is called "The Science of Sleep"? I agree that the dream is more an art than a science, but perhaps the author intended this "conflict" between science and dream in the title
2 - Respect the work
If the work in the original language has been given a title of "important" like The Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, do not demean a title from B movies like "If you leave me, you gate" .. as if his name is Shining "Terror in the hotel"
3 - Do not try to overcome the author
If the translation is impossible, not to upset trying to be "more good author." If the pun is untranslatable, a note and let's just ... otherwise the situation could get out of hand (there 'still some who would ask whether the high school English nickname of Benjamin would become such a "Minus Habens" and what would be the Gang of Brocchi title)
4 - If all else fails, A cartoon with Snoopy
surrender that "butt" the golf ball, and Woodstock that says "Play it Again, Sam" has 5% of the power of the word game "Play it again, Sam" can be translated as "Play" but also "play it" ... and then, you could put a asterischino, no?
5 - Watch what you translate
Ok .. I imagine that the budget for the translation of a cartoon on television is low .. but if you translate "Quick, let's go to the Garden of Reeds" and the following scene takes place in a waste storage (junk yard) a dubbietto could also come to me, no? :-)

Epsom Salt For Swollen Feet
But dreaming is an art or a science?
.. depends .. Italy in an art, a science in the rest of the world ...
Background: (the day before yesterday, in the office) "Give me the keys to the cabinet? Because tonight there's no 'training, I leave the bag with the stuff here on Friday"
Today (Friday'): stratospheric already late for training, I get up, put in place the computer, go to the closet and I DO NOT HAVE THE KEYS! I had to give up to training .. :-(
I find this important information to understand the feelings with which I dealt with Michael Gondry's latest film, "The Science of Sleep".
E 'romantic, visionary, pathetic, demented, schizophrenic, crazy, poetic, funny, brilliant, brilliant, surreal and original .. and all without trying to have a plot that would rule. But I'm not fair .. I love Gondry's videos and I think that this subject (always written by him) is primarily a "sorry" for having a set in which "fit" all his crazy ideas that lend themselves to being "burned" 5 minutes rather than over the shooting and "long pull" for a whole film.
But then in the end the big question is "But I like it?". I do not know ... perhaps not even gone to see it .. I just wanted to see .. maybe ...

How Many Hours Are On A Gas Boat Motor?
Still working on ads ...
Adapted from an article on Tgfin:
"The research is aimed at candidates of up to 30 years, with a degree in computer science and a strong predisposition for the use of operating systems."
Ah, well .. sure ... This is to prevent all computer operating systems that do not use and then do all operations, including copies of files in the machine language of the processor .. Each has its fixations
