Today on WTF there' one of the most 'famous urban legends about computer support to users.
There are historical:
- complains that the computer does not work but then fails to say if the cables are attached because the lights are out for a blackout
- complains that the sw does not work from a floppy 5 , 25''after the label attached to the floppy with the stapler
In my experience the most 'and pretty' as follows:
when I was still in the CED of a large company, we called a group of ten consultants' high level "and had them locked in a closet where we put 10 PCs (more than 626 law .. even the basement in an office where I work now seems serious in comparison).
One day there was only one of the consultants in the closet and had made up his mind to install a sw on the machines of all my colleagues.
Call to a colleague saying, "I can not share my CD player in the network."
My colleague goes into the room and heads for the ' we had one PC with a CD player. imagine his surprise when he heard: "No, my PC is that."
I enclose a picture of the computer model to help you understand where he slipped on the CD.
What makes me laugh the most is that he simply said "the CD does not work" but "I can not share my CD over the network."
